Beat Machine Downloads Info

musical instruments Comments Off

I don’t know about you but I’m not too crazy about those cheesy free beat machine downloads they have sprinkled all over the internet. You do know that they aren’t free. These are demo version’s and as such there is no charge. Yes that’s right you can demo them for free but if you want to own them then you have to pay for a license.

This type of software is generally known as shareware. Depending upon the software developer this type of software is typically used to offer a trial period and or a limited use to their customers. You won’t get full version rights with this type of download. Most of these freeware or shareware downloads do not allow you save your music.

Most of the beat machine software is rather high priced. I think that some of this software seems overly complicated to say the least. I like things that are priced reasonably and are easy enough to use right out of the box so to speak.

I found this great little beat machine that has mp3 export capability and features tutorials that not only teach you how to use the beat machine but also how to use it with different instruments. They have a great site and yes they too have a free trial and their very own beat machine downloads. The use of this software is not limited to only a PC. If you have any questions or concerns you can consult with their online staff. Very cool. So easy to use even a 7 year old can do it. It is frankly amazing how inexpensive this software is and just how many features it has, not to mention it’s ease of use.

Beat machines are pretty popular right now whether it be for rap or R&B everyone wants one. Make sure you find the right one for you. My advice is to try different versions of these beat machines until you find the right one. But if you can’t wait and don’t want to go to all the different sites then try this link for a some really good beat machine downloads

Three of the greatest composers of classical music

musical instruments Comments Off

Here are details on three of the greatest piano players/composers known to grace the keys.

Ludwig Van Beethoven. Beethoven may be the most famous compsers more to the fact that he composed, wrote and performed his music while becomming deaf in his early twenties. Beethoven was born in December 1770, his grandfather with the same name and his father both had worked in the court of the Elector of Cologne, as later he did. His move to study the violin and counterpoint in Vienna in 1792 was funded by the Elector. His loss of hearing started in 1796, and is believed to be the result of lead posioning, as lead was used alot in life back then before it was known as being posionous. The work of Beethoven has been put into three different setions: the early, middle and later periods. The early period was said to be influenced by Mozart and lasted up until 1806, the middle period went from 1803 untill 1814, and the late period from 1815 until his death.

Wolfgang Mozart. Mozart, born in 1756 is thought to be one of the greatest classical composers, with over six hundred pieces wrote and composed to his name. A child prodigy, Mozart performed to royalty and composed music from as early as five years old. He was even employed as a court musician in Sazlburg from the age of 17. When he visited Vienna is decided to stay there -and this is the city where he became famous, but not rich by any means. He died of what is believed to be Rheumatic fever in 1791, and rumour has it he was dictacting music on his deathbed.

Johann Bach. Bach was born in Germany in March 1685 and was a composer and organist, influential in the Baroque period and helping to bring the period to maturity. Bach was more famous as an organist rather than a composer during his lifetime, which his talent was only credited when he was rediscovered in the 19th century. When Bach was orphaned at 10 years of age we was shipped off to live with his brother, an organist. Bach received further musical tution from his Brother, learning the Clavicord. Two of the seven Bach children from his first marriage were also great composers in their own right, helping to mould the style known as Rococo -Carl and Wilhem Bach. Prince Leopold of Anhalt-Cöthen hired Bach to serve as his director of music in 1717 until 1723, during which time his first wife died in 1720, and he remarried in December 1721. Bach was apointed as the Cantor of Thomasschule in 1723, which was a posistion he held upto his death after eye surgery in 1750.

Helping You Find The Karaoke MP3

musical instruments Comments Off

karaoke equipment

Welcome to the new world of the karaoke MP3. For singers, online karaoke offers a number of opportunities to practice, record and share their renditions of popular songs. Downloading music is not as cut-and-dry as one would think however, which has turned many people off turning their computers into karaoke machines. Instead, people use their video game consoles to play “Karaoke Revolution” or purchase a karaoke system and songs in CD G format.

There are several things to look for when downloading karaoke MP3 files. Some files feature recordings from the original band members, with the vocals removed. Others have professional recording artists performing the tracks, with the vocals removed. Other tracks come with the vocals and allow you to cancel out the vocals on your karaoke system, if your system comes with that feature. It is important to understand the features and the limitations of your karaoke equipment before you start browsing for music.

Another factor to consider is its extension. Most downloads will come as “.mp3″ files, although some may say “midi,”"mp3+g” or “mp4.” Midi sometimes sounds like keyboard music and is often a very different version, so you will want to avoid those. The MP3+G are good because they have the lyrics included that can be output to video. MP4 format may be a music file and an accompanying music video file, which is fine if you want the videos more than the lyrics.

Apple’s iPod changed how we experience music for the most part. We have come to expect music that travels with us everywhere and works across media formats, such as on stereos, in our cars, on television sets and on computers. So naturally, you may also want to blend your love of karaoke with your iPod technology. If you have an iPod and you shop at the iTunes store, then you may be surprised to see that your karaoke MP3 files don’t automatically come with the lyrics included! You can buy the iKaraoke microphone ($49.99 at www.griffintechnology.com) easily enough but you’ll need to get the lyrics manually by right-clicking on the song in iTunes, choosing “get info” and clicking on the lyrics tab. Once you find the lyrics online, you will need to cut and paste them into the box; then when you queue up the song, press the “select” button until the karaoke lyrics pop up. While it seems like a pain for every song in your collection, eventually iTunes will have a quicker way of doing this, just as they now have quicker methods of downloading artwork for the CDs in your collection.

One of the most popular sources for karaoke MP3 files is www.ez-tracks.com, which offers thousands of karaoke songs for low prices. As a bonus, new members can download 101 songs for free, including artists like Haste The Day, Norma Jean, The Beatles, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Kanye West and Kid Rock. However, be sure you set up a separate email account to start using the site, as they do sell your email address to their advertisers. You will also see a lot of advertisements on the site, but since “free” is hard to find in the world of karaoke songs, most people say it is worthwhile.

Advantages of Learning to Master a Guitar

musical instruments Comments Off

Yes you can be the king of the party or someone who is adored by music lovers or, the list goes on. You can play exceptional music through the strumming of your guitar. And people would scream out “Play More!” That would be really nice isn’t it? Do you like the idea? Well, read on as this article shows you some of the most exciting and fulfilling advantages when you have learned to master the techniques and chords in the world of guitar music.

Advantage #1

Playing a guitar enhances your brain to work and to initiate such signals that commands your hands on mentally memorizing where to put your finger on a particular fret, pressing on the right chord and engaging in the proper manner of strumming.

Advantage #2

The pleasure of gratification is satisfied. Thus, your self-esteem is working its way through your personality. A psychological book once said, that man has to satisfy basic needs to be able to advance to the highest level which is the self-realization. Something like that.

Advantage #3

The fact is that a guitar is one of the most convenient instruments there is. You can’t bring your drums wherever you go. It would be exhausting on your part to carry a drum set around your campus and constantly beat it. It can cause so much distraction. Whereas if you have been a full pledged guitarist your whole life, you could play music where you can.

Advantage #4

Being able to drag your guitar around town, might as well earn something from it. A talent like that would not go on unnoticed. Playing along the streets of downtown is not really the idea but if you consider it, then yes, you could try. You could ask some of your friends to back you up.

Advantage #5

You, yourself, is a unique individual. Out of ten people typically one becomes a pure musician. And by some luck, that person is a guitarist. Or can be someone with ultra musical talent who can play not only the guitar but many different instruments and even some percussion ones. Some say it is learned but true talent comes from deep inside. It is that spirit within you that makes you distinct.

Advantage #6

Nobody can call you a guitarist with no specific talent. Yes, you could flunk all of your exams and miss every graded recitation during class hours but when school or house parties come, you are the star. Even an A+ won’t top the popularity you can get from being an artist.

Advantage #7

You are the “it” guy. Everyone can hate you or mess you up. But the moment you have mastered your own craft, everyone will soon realize how good you are. Even those peple who didn’t know you existed before will find an effort to. Everyone will respect you for the talent that you are.

More advantages are viewed just by playing the guitar. Playing is one thing but mastering is another. So if you are still struggling to play such tunes, don’t give up that dream. Even though it’s just a hobby or past time, who knows, with such skill, it could take you to new heights. Something brighter. Something more intense. Something close to Hollywood.

musical instruments Comments Off

There are many resources available to help you whether you are just beginning to play student guitar, you want to expand your repertoire to include blues, funk or rock and roll music, or you just want to learn a few licks of your favorite song or even if you want to record yourself regardless of your intentions you can find help.

If you need help in better understanding your guitar playing, then here some ideas you can consider.

Guitar videos
You can purchase beginner guitar playing videos, either for home or computer watching, that include hand position, strumming technique, rhythm and timing, and finger exercises that take through various type of songs. You can mimic what you are watching on screen and reproduce what you see and the lessons become essentially a mirror for you in learning to play guitar. With commitment and determination, this can be a good one to go - especially for the visual learner who likes to learn primarily on their own.

Guitar lessons
Community colleges in your area have acoustic electric guitar tutors or you can find a private instructor to work with you. You’ll want to consider their expertise, the type of students they work best with, their flexibility with your schedule, success stories, and of course their fees, in considering working with them. In pursing guitar lessons, you can either do one on one or group - both have their pluses and minuses but either can work for you.

Playing with partners
Find someone in your local community who plays. You can do this through asking the local community college, posting online to a resource like craigslist, or asking the guitar shop. The purpose is to have the accountable of practicing weekly with someone who is better than you and develop a friendship with them. What you can provide is the commitment to meet up with them weekly and practice. In return, you can learn from their techniques or methods what works. Of course, you always need to be aware of learning bad habits in situations like these, which is why it’s important to have a foundation in guitar technique before starting.

Guitar theory
Related to guitar technique is developing a basis in guitar theory. Chord patterns, minor and major chord progressions, note scales, and overlap with piano and percussion instruments can all give you a basic structure upon which to layer in the knowledge and technique you gain in your guitar playing.

Playing guitar can be a wonderful expression of ones musical and creative talent. And with a commitment to constant improvement, it can provide a lifetime of enjoyment for yourself, friends, and family.
